Harborside Marina & Yacht Sales is a privately owned marine dealership and marina located on Long Island Sound, in scenic Clinton, CT.  The owner John Benchimol, formerly of Long Island, has been in the marine business for over 25 years and has built this business on excellent customer service.  John Benchimol started in the business back in the 80's running launch service for various yacht clubs on the North Shore of Long Island and later moved his interests to the Hudson River, south of Albany NY, running a large marine dealership.  In 1998 Benchimol moved to Connecticut with his wife and family and purchased Harborside Marina.  The existing marina had been one of the largest marine dealerships in the country but was in need of new management.  Benchimol started the Chris Craft Dealership his first year and grew the business throughout Connecticut and New York.   Over the next ten years, Harborside Marina and Yacht Sales has grown to be one of the largest Chris Craft Dealerships on the world.  In addition, the dealership has been awarded Top 100 dealer in the United States two years in a row.  Building the business on customer service, it is no surprise that Harborside was also one of the first marine dealerships in the country and one of a handfull in Connecticut to be awarded Certified Marine Dealer.  Now in his 10th year, Benchimol continues to build his business on a "turn-key" approach to boating.  Harborside has been lucky enough to provide products and services to some of the most famous and prestigious clients in the world.  Look for unique events and promotions from Harborside in the future.
